Many South Florida homes and condos built before the mid-1970s have cast-iron drain lines under the slab. After 40 to 60 years they corrode from the inside, scale builds up, and you start seeing slow drains, backups, sewer smells or cracked tile. The traditional fix is to jackhammer the floor, dig a trench and replace the pipe, which means weeks of mess and replacing the flooring afterward.
Pipe relining is a trenchless alternative. After cleaning the line, a resin-saturated liner is pulled or inverted into the old pipe through existing access points and cured in place, forming a new smooth pipe inside the old one. In many cases your tile, cabinets and walls stay where they are. Not every line is a candidate: severely collapsed sections, bellies or the wrong pipe size may still need replacement. That's why every job starts with a camera inspection, and we tell you honestly what makes sense.

It's a method of restoring a damaged drain from the inside. A liner coated with resin is installed through an existing opening and cured into a new pipe within the old one, so in many cases no trench is needed.
Homes built before about 1975 often have cast-iron drains. Slow drains, recurring clogs and sewer odors are common signs. A camera inspection confirms the pipe material and condition.
Quality cured-in-place liners are designed for a long service life, often quoted at decades. We'll explain the specific system and warranty for your job.
Not always, but once you add the cost of breaking and replacing floors, tile and cabinets, relining is often the better value. We'll compare both options for you.
